I woke up this morning feeling a little out of sorts inside my head. It was unclear whether the problem was a headache or something in my ears. I took a rare morning bath, which helped somewhat, but at some point I tried taking one of Gretchen's 800 mg ibuprofen tablets. It's possible that this just made my problem worse. Loud bass sounds were accompanied by a disturbing ringing in my ears (particularly my right ear), and I also felt a little off-balance, particularly after sitting in front of my computer for hours at a stretch. Despite all this, I still managed to get a good amount of web development done. But it was unsettling, particularly given the fact that Gretchen and I will soon be once again without health insurance.
