Big thanks to those who have recently honored my site with their awards:
Did I get that Valentine's page done I was talking about yesterday? Of course not! A zillion other distractions presented themselves, and I ended up working on another project entirely. I did accomplish a LOT on that, though, so I'm not too stressed out about it. I'm going to see what I can scrounge up today in the way of Valentines stuff. Most of the graphics floating around out there are way too cutesy for me. I'm going to have to put on my thinking cap and figure out where I can find some alternatives. I've got a lot of the text I want to use lined up, so that's cool.
In the ongoing saga of Fishnet, they've struck again. I swear, they are just plain DUMB! A friend alerted me yesterday that an old, old copy of my husband's webpage was back up at http://www.fishnet.net/~emjord/ I cruised over there and sure enough, a copy from July of last year was there. Now I hate to break it to these guys, but I *think* putting a page up for someone who is not a client there is called misrepresentation. Of course I fired off an email to them with cc:'s to everyone and his brother and made a hard copy of the letter to send to the Tri-Counties Better Business Bureau as a follow-up to my initial complaint. You can see the letters, etc. by going to the very bottom of this page and clicking on Fishnet's logo. I can't believe that after threat of a lawsuit, etc., they would be so stupid as to dig their hole even deeper by doing this new trick. There must be a huge lack of communication amongst the staff members, which I guess shouldn't be surprising considering they sure have trouble communicating with their clients. Oh well. To quote Pink Floyd, "just another brick in the wall."
