A sort of hybrid between a textbook and coffee table book I found in the Liberty Lodge lobby.

The people responsible for this book. I'm sure they are not fully independent of Reader's Digest America.
No mention of Apartheid or African National Congress in the index.
An interesting "peoples map" from the book. Note that no people at all are said to be native to areas in the southwest then deemed to be whites-only. But in other areas of the book there is an admission that "Hottentots" were present on the Cape of Good Hope from the beginning.
Also, and this is beside the point, but one has to chuckle at such nonsense filler phrases as "kaleidoscope of colourful contrasts."
