Mr. Editor:

The election of George Allen as Governor of the Commonwealth gives abundant evidence that the end of the world is not quite here. Amidst the earthquakes, floods, famines, unrighteousness, sodomy, and abortion, this one indication proves that these are not the end times. This is not to say all is right with the world by any means. There are a lot of people out there still taking drugs, still not accepting Christ, still getting their unborn babies torn from their bodies, and still doing things in the dark that boggle my imagination. All the same, I am convinced that all this can be turned aside with the help of our new Governor. Promising trends include Allen's support of the family-oriented and mostly non-satanic Disney Theme Park, his desire to lock up felons forever, his determination to get tough with drugs, and his realization that the world's resources are man's to use completely (they will certainly last until the rapture). If I could just give Allen a few suggestions, I would have him contemplate public executions for drug dealers & buyers, sodomites, abortionists, flag burners and unbelievers. He should support people's right to do with their own land as they see fit, and he should eliminate all taxes except those required to maintain a state militia and good roads (prisons and schools being unnecessary in a world of private education and executions). And one final thing, vote Oliver North!

Sincerely,

Gus Mueller
