The little progress I made on the porch project involved the adding of metal struts just beneath the plywood sheathing in the spaces between rafters to further firm up the roof, making it more solid to walk around on.
Meanwhile Gretchen handled a number of chores, including mowing the lawn. I heard her run into the rocks a few times, something I generally manage to avoid doing.
