Big Fun Devastation

The front of Big Fun, April 1996. The flag hanging from the balcony is a large graffiti-defaced American flag out of which the blue field of stars has been cut. In the foreground is a sign stolen from the Pantops Mountain Food Lion parking lot in Charlottesville mounted upon a black metal post stolen from the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville. This pole penetrates a baby carriage trash-picked from the Altamont. A large tree branch has been brought down by the strong winds frequent on Fairview Farms. Photo by Jonathan Hayward.
