   cold day in May
Monday, May 13 2013
It was so cold today that I actually burned a fire in the woodstove for most of the day. I don't think outdoor temperatures ever even managed to rise into the 50s. Though such cold days in May aren't completely without precedent (such a day happened several days after our wedding in May, 2003), the season itself has been an unusually cold one going all the way back into early March.
I spent most of the day cranking yet again through that game code for the professor down in Westchester County. I would going to her university yet again tomorrow, and I didn't want my code to be as crappy as it had been for my last visit. There are just so many moving parts, though, that it's difficult for one person working by himself without much in the way of feedback to get it into an acceptable state for presentation.
