Since a little before Christmas, I've been pretty good about avoiding the daily ritual consumption of caffeine, though today I cheated a bit, starting with several tea bags of green tea and then transitioning to Red Rose black tea (the usual source of my caffeine since I permanently gave up the daily drinking of coffee back in the Fall of 2011). I had some extremely boring (and, mercifully, unusual) work to do in the remote workplace, and it seemed fair to give myself every reasonable advantage to keep me focused on a task that I kept finding myself procrastinating.
