Normally ephedra tea, though a stimulant, rarely causes insomnia (at least for me). Tonight, however, was different. I stayed up late tweaking a database design using my old Tableform system. Sensing that I wouldn't be able to fall asleep without a strong sedative, I bought drinking privileges by painting a quick crude false-color painting of Oscar the Cat using just purple, black, and white. I tried to maximize freshness without caring too much about representational accuracy. I knew the bold strokes would look great (and abstract) when given the dual-flip treatment.
