   Breaking Bad yet another final time

This evening Gretchen finally got around to watching the final episode of Breaking Bad, which I watched with her on the "media computer" (a device Gretchen is still learning how to use). She ended up being underwhelmed by the ending, the scene with Walter White admiring the equipment in the Nazi meth lab while Badfinger's "Baby Blue" takes over the soundtrack. She found that cheesy, though she admitted to liking the tidiness and satisfying justice of the way most of the threads resolved. Sure, Lydia's adorable daughter was left an orphan, but that's only something that crosses your mind if you don't hate her mother as much as you should.
