   hundreds of pounds of rock
Friday, October 25 2013
I was a little hungover from yesterday's excesses, but not so bad that I couldn't continue the insane project of excavating the west half of the greenhouse floor. While listening to the NPR Live stream, I broke up hundreds of pounds of rock and removed many buckets. I didn't keep count of how many, but I built up an impressive ridge of rock fragments just west of the upstairs' entrance deck. If this excavation manages to avoid a hard layer of rock and goes deep, I'll have a lot of rock to dispose of and I'll use it to build a causeway from the upstairs deck to the steps coming down from the house.
