pseudoephedrine and leftover pizza Friday, June 4 2021
Today I subsisted on pseudoephedrine, leftover pizza, gin, and two-year-old cannabis buds, which all added up to an okay Friday night by myself, though (as often happens with drug experiences) it wasn't quite as good as I'd hoped. After work, I drove with the dogs out to Home Depot just to get four more of those planters designed to sit atop deck railings (along with more garden soil). Gretchen said she'd like to grow flowers in some of these pots, but I can't be trusted to buy the correct ones, so I'll leave that part to her. One big side benefit of these pots is that they conceal the worst-looking part of the deck: the tops of the railings, where the sun destroys the stain and even some of the wood.

A large purple flower growing in the wetlands at the bottom of the Chamomile Headwaters Trail. I searched Google Images with this and it offered that it was an "Algerian iris."
