cheap Chinese scooters have regenerative braking
Wednesday, June 9 2021

I spent most of the day trying to write a TSQL script to consolidate single-column changes in several records for a day into a single record containing all of those changes. It's a more complicated process than you might think.
Later in the day, I took a ride on my electric scooter north up Dug Hill Road as far as Lorenz Road, though I turned around when nearby thunder threatened from the north. Interestingly, the scooter was down to just one bar of battery remaining when I left, but the process of coasting down the hill from Lorenz was apparently enough to put sufficient charge in the battery for it to go up to two bars. Who knew cheap Chinese scooters have regenerative braking?
After I returned home, there was a fair amount of rain.
